so so sassy song:Holly Palmer - Just So You Know
gotta see: matrix: revolutions
want to see: love actually

super halloween rundown
this was without a doubt, the best halloween i've had in a long long time. no hitches. no worries. just flow, and fun, and one dumbass guy who tried to hit on me and sat in out can (more on that later), but other than that-- GREAT TIMES, good memories, pretty pictures, and the best company!

so the night started out kinda lame, we went to a radio promotional party in the city and partied with a bunch of thirty-somethings until their nine o'clock bedtime. LAME. on the bright side, there was some food, and a few really neat costumes (a bunch of guys in pink 50's waitress style dresses, a kick ass medusa). on the otherhand, everyone was about 10 years older than me, there were some really LAME costumes (think gladiator costume and too much skin) and it wasn't all that fun.

so i'm thinking SHIEEEEEEET, this is a kinda lame halloween-- that is, until we went to another party at a different club that was being rented out by friends. this was a much younger crowd, with fun music and lots of dancing. EXCELLENT stuff. i took a ton of pics, i got to shake my tailfeather, my costume was recognized by more than like two people, and someone actually wanted to take a picture with me! i also met someone dressed as mitsuko from battle royale, and a pics with the crow and a lot of pics of matrix folk. fun fun fun!

when we were done, tired, and hungry, we went back to my house, picked up some tasty thin crust tony's pizza's from our local grocers freezer section, and watched Versus in the comfort of my home. what a strange movie. but who cares, i feel like the night was a success, and a very memorable night.

the only yucky thing all night was some yucky guy tried to hit on me and one of my friends (at different times). and then, at the end of the night, while my friends were waiting for me right outside the club, this same idiot sat in our van. my friends wanted to kick his ass, which would have only added to the fun we had that night, but instead they made him get out and later they confessed to me how badly they wanted to choke him with our chains and rip his winkie off and "wring it out like a wet towel". hahahaha. we are so violent.

Just So You Know
by Holly Palmer/Bob Khaleel/Guy Erez/Emerson Swinford

Tell me baby
If maybe we could put the top down
The sun is flying so high today
And the shine off your cherry fenders
Would be too much but not too much
With your hand reach out
With your mouth shape the phrase
And say

Just so you know
Just so I know
Just so we know
We're together
If I can look in your eyes
And see what I feel then it's real
And I know
We're together

With your eyes look over
With your car pull over
That's all it's gonna take
'Cause I have been paying very close attention to your habits
Somebody over there at the counter
In the diner on the corner in the corner of my mind
Wears your face
On different day I am someone else too
and we disappear together
We fold up and fly away like paper airplanes
We rub each other's creases and line up each other's angles
And we choose the brightest papers and we fly

Just so you know
Just so I know
Just so we know
We're together
If I can look in your eyes
And see what I feel then it's real
And I know
We're together

'Cause we could really take our time
We could really get our shapes just right
And fly off each other into the night
And where we land is out of our hands
And so in this way we don't stop
We never stop
We don't stop
We won't stop baby

SASSY.... my favorite line is: we rub each other's creases and line up each other's angles.... holly palmer-- this song is awesome.
