strong enough for a man...
i went to buy deodorant yesterday, because i was almost out. lately i've been wearing dove deodorant, in the powder scent. but after going to the store, i discovered that the secret brand was on sale, with new refreshing, skin renewing scents! i grabbed a stick (tube?) of blue plastic and held it to my nose in anticipation...
MY GOODNESS deodorant sure has come a long way! no longer limited to such scents as "powder", and "original" my nose was pleasantly surprised to find "botanical silk", "tropical satin", and the interesting, tho unispired "velvet powder". i was intrigued by this new collection. i subjected my olfactory nerves to the deodorant, in an attempt to capture, "my scent". so here is my review:
"velvet powder": as i said before-- thoroughly uninspiring, and a little old smelling-- like grandmas... not YOUR grandma, mind you, just a collection. please, no offense is intended. "botanical silk": very nice. like the name implies, it is like the light scent of flowers in a bright sunny open meadow, only sweeter, and more green, somehow. "tropical satin": smells delicious! like a big fragrant basket of ripe fruit. or fruit flavored candy!
so which did i pick? after pouring over the three scents i decided i definitely didn't like velvet powder. fifteen minutes later, i finally chose "botanical silk". it smelled very nice, but not too strong. and as much as i liked "tropical satin"s deliciously fruity smell, i didn't think i 'd be able to get used to my armpits to smelling lilke candy.
