i know what you did last last summer
two summers ago, i had this one guy friend-- no i take it back, he's more of an acquaintance. anyways, we were getting to be friends then, and it was cool. i kinda took special interest in the endeavor, because a lot of people didn't like giving him a chance. he can be kinda... rough, and arrogant, and just a little bit too... icky sometimes. anyways, i kinda liked being his friend for a little while, because i just plain like meeting new people, walking a couple yards in their shoes and whatnot. despite what i knew about how people really found this guy unpleasant, i agreed to go out to dinner with him-- my intentions being totally platonic and stuff.

but somewhere between the appetizer and dessert, he got the wrong idea about me and things got out of hand QUICK. after that i stopped talking to him, realizing that i now had my own evidence to back up all the stuff i'd heard about him. i started avoiding him and eventually he went away. unfortunately, he is also acquaintances with some pretty good friends of mine. and whenever we end up in the same room, i remember and cringe, and get real quiet. sometimes i wonder if anyone notices. but usually no ones does. except for people that know.

will this happen everytime i come across him, forever and ever? well. it's starting to look that way. i hapened to see him again today. and it all came rushing back-- that uneasy uncomfortable yuckiness...DAMMIT and DAMN HIM. i wish it wouldnt, but something tells me that sinking haunting i-need-to-get-out-of-here feeling will always be there whenever i see him...great. JUST GREAT.
