bio clocks STILL suck ass i have come to the conclusion that my time in that class is completely useless. i decided to go to my discussion section today, hoping beyond hope that we might cover some of what was lectured about in... uh... lecture. to my utter delight and with a bit of disgust i found that everything discussed in lecture was gone over in section. so i pretty much dont need to go to lecture! what the hell is that?? i always thought discussions were supplimental, not rehash. i mean, i dont mind seeing as i've missed the last two classes, but geez, don't make it QUITE so easy for me to just skip class like that. SHOOOOOT, my gsi even added that the lecture material was all found in the course readings. how d'ya like that. i dont know why i find that so annoying, but i do. i basically have NO incentive to go to lecture. what the hell.
more than a woman-- or a man... i LOVE "Hedwig and the Angry Inch". EASILY one of my favoritest movies of all time. i love music. this movie has FANTASTIC music. and it's amazing how at first, you think the story doens't relate to you at all. after all, you're not a divorced german crossdressing homosexual front man for a glam rock band... or are you? in any case, this movie is so appealing because despite the unlikely characters and/or situations, the overarching themes of the movie applies to everyone... everyone is searching for their other half-- that part of them that is missing that makes them feel whole. everyone is trying to find out who they are-- and accept and love themselves despite that. and maybe-- but hopefully not-- you're even trying to get over betrayal by someone you love. i admit, this isn't the movie for you if you dont like musicals. or if you are largely homophobic. but if neither one applies, you will LOVE this movie.
